Skillet 101

Skillet 101

Skillet 101 is a community kitchen program where community members can learn to cook healthy affordable meals for their selves and family in an electric skillet.

Skillet 101

This is a FREE 6 week program with classes running every Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Through the generous support of Canadian Tire and Ralph’s Farm Markets, all equipment and food required for class is provided. Participants just need to bring food containers to bring their prepared meal home in.

What makes this class even more exciting is if a participant can commit to all 6 weeks and don’t miss a class then they will get to take their skillet home with them at the end of the sessions.

For more information or to register for Skillet 101 class, please contact the Family Services Coordinator.

A skillet is not just for making breakfast anymore!
